Once in a bustling village, surrounded by colorful fields and tall trees, lived a young boy named Arun. Arun was a curious, adventurous boy with a bright smile and sparkling eyes. He loved playing with his friends, running through meadows, and exploring nature. One day, while wandering near the village garden, he noticed an old gardener planting seeds.
The gardener, Mr. Pasha, was known for his beautiful garden that bloomed all year round. Arun watched as he gently pushed tiny seeds into the soft earth. Curiosity got the best of him, and he asked, “Mr. Pasha, why do you spend so much time planting seeds?”
Mr. Pasha smiled warmly. “Each seed holds a dream, Arun. With care and patience, it can become something wonderful.”
Arun thought about this and looked at the handful of seeds on the old man’s palm. One tiny seed caught his eye—small and almost dull compared to the others. “Can I have this one?” Arun asked.
“Of course,” Mr. Pasha replied. “But remember, it needs love and patience to grow.”
Arun nodded, took the seed, and ran home. He carefully planted it in his backyard, just as he had seen Mr. Pasha do, and watered it gently. Every morning, he would rush to check on his seed. Days passed, but nothing seemed to happen. Frustrated, he wondered why it wasn’t growing.
One afternoon, his friend Maya came over. Seeing Arun’s sad face, she asked, “What’s wrong?”
“It’s my seed,” Arun sighed. “It’s not growing at all. Maybe it’s broken.”
Maya smiled. “Sometimes dreams take time. You just have to keep trying.”
Encouraged, Arun continued to water the seed and even talked to it, sharing stories about his day. Weeks turned into months, and still, nothing sprouted. His friends teased him, calling it the “sleepy seed.” Arun felt embarrassed but never gave up.
One evening, when Arun was almost ready to quit, Mr. Pasha visited. “How’s your little seed?” he asked gently.
Arun lowered his head. “I don’t know… Maybe I did something wrong.”
Mr. Pasha patted his shoulder. “Sometimes, the strongest plants take the longest to grow. Don’t lose hope.”
The next morning, as sunlight kissed the earth, Arun spotted something tiny and green peeking through the soil. His heart leapt with joy! He called Maya and the other children to see. The little sprout stood proudly despite its late start.
Arun continued to care for the sprout, and over the months, it grew taller than all the other plants in his yard. One day, it blossomed into a beautiful tree with bright, fragrant flowers. Birds made nests, and butterflies danced around it. The villagers marveled at the tree that had once been just a tiny, dull seed.
With pride in his heart, Arun realized that dreams take patience and dedication, no matter how small or slow they seem.
From that day on, whenever anyone in the village felt like giving up, they would visit Arun’s tree and remember the lesson it taught: Good things take time, and dreams need patience to bloom
